Nearly five months ago, we invested in a 2016 Peterbilt for light, everyday moving capability. Although it is officially our “smallest” truck, it is by no means small. The vehicle has a 24-foot long van body with a 103-inch inside height. The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is 33,000.
Not only does this truck have better gas mileage, but the model 337 is an air-ride vehicle providing smoother transport for sensitive cargo; such as, smaller machinery, electronic equipment, and office furniture.
Another perk of this model is that it doesn’t require a loading dock. The 8-foot by 8-foot rear, cargo-loading door has a 3,000 pound lift-gate, which allows us to make ground-level deliveries.
