Pay Range: $19-$28 per hour

Primary Job Expectation:

The Skilled Laborer (Industrial Laborer) performs a variety of tasks across departments, supporting operations in warehousing, crating, packaging, rigging, and general labor. This role involves light carpentry, machine handling, and inventory management, ensuring quality and efficiency across projects while exposing you to all areas of the business to align with your interests and personal strengths.

  • Proficiency in basic mathematics for measurements and inventory tracking.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and supervisors.
Duties and Tasks:
  • Assist in receiving, processing, and organizing incoming materials.
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery to transport and secure equipment.
  • Assemble and brace precut crates using nail and staple guns.
  • Band, block, and brace machines for secure transportation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces and storage areas.
  • Conduct inventory checks and reconcile variances.
  • Load, unload, and secure machinery and parts for delivery or storage.
  • Utilize basic carpentry tools for custom crating and packaging tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to support machinery installation and relocation.
  • Communicate with project managers regarding tooling and equipment needs.
Job Qualifications:

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • OSHA 10-Hour certification (required)
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Crane Signaling certification (preferred)

Skills Preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing, general labor, or light carpentry (preferred).
  • Proficiency with carpentry tools, measuring devices, and saws.
  • Mid-level English language proficiency: ability to read, write routine correspondence, and communicate effectively.
  • Mathematics skills: ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
